And they mumbled something about failure….
So I took that feeling
That awkwardness
And I pocketed it with all the others
After carefully cleaning and labeling it

Now it just sits there
Taking up space
Cuz it can

Cuz im too afraid to deal with it properly
Cuz you know—when you deep clean and reorganize your shit to fit your new life pattern you just cant resist a revisitation of the things you left on the shelves

This revisitation includes all of your senses including the ones you didn’t know u had

I even gave myself the time to take out the trash, but I

Couldn’t
Rid myself of it.
Now I am beginning to wish I had
The smell is starting to get to me
It’s giving me a headache
But I still have old feelings…
I am growing new ones out in the garden
These show potential to be sweet tasty fruits
New breeds of flavor and spice
I guess I could use the old trash as fertilizer for the new fruit
